Kirsten in The Southeast Review
I heard there’s another published author in our ranks… Some of you might remember Kirsten Skrinde’s short story “Clown Alley” from last summer’s workshop. The story was recently accepted by The Southeast Review, a national literary journal out of Florida State. Congratulations Kirsten! I think you’re officially a southerner now.

Kirsten,
i’m just now reading the blog–congratulations! what validation that must be—getting in The Southeast Review. do we all get autographed copies when it comes out? am anxious to read and so happy for you. let us know the issue.
I guess you’ll get the suite in Humphrey’s back this summer as i can’t make it. i’ve been wallowing in despair, but it can’t be helped. hoping at least to visit. take care and keep writing.

Greer, thanks so much for the support. The mag is coming out in Aug or Sept, I think. I’m so sorry you won’t be back this summer. I may get the room, but I don’t have the dorm-decorating skills you do. Hope to see you on a visit–
Kirsten
